MARCH 6 - 9, 2011This meeting is a follow-up to the first one held at Janelia in spring 2008. It will focus on advances in the development of novel methods for studying attention and decision making in rodents and other model systems.

MARCH 13 - 16, 2011This intimate meeting will focus on the physiology, anatomy, and behavioral role of the visual system in Drosophila and larger flies.

MARCH 20 - 23, 2011This conference will focus on vocal production and perception in mice and songbirds, with input from other vertebrate vocal model systems.

APRIL 3 - 6, 2011This meeting will bring together leaders in the field to discuss the progress that has been made over these first two decades, as well as conjecture on the direction of the field in the next 20 years, and beyond.

MAY 9 - 12, 2011This meeting is a follow-up to the first one, "New frontiers in mitochondrial science: Integration into cell signaling," held in spring 2008. This meeting will bring together leaders in the field to discuss the most recent findings and best approaches to dissecting the expanding cellular roles of mitochondria.

MAY 15 - 18, 2011This workshop, a follow-up to the first one held in fall 2008, will focus on recent advances in our understanding of the mechanisms of learning and memory in Drosophila and the honeybee.

MAY 22 - 25, 2011This meeting is a follow-up to the first one held in spring of 2009. Through a series of talks, panel discussions and posters we look forward to hearing the latest updates on the development, structure and function of the cortex.

OCTOBER 3 - 6, 2010This small meeting seeks to identify and develop strategies that will enable results obtained from diverse approaches and perspectives to best complement each other.

OCTOBER 24 - 27, 2010This workshop will explore current advances in light-based approaches to high-resolution neural circuit imaging and analysis.

NOVEMBER 7 - 10, 2010In this meeting, we will bring together leaders in the field to review progress in the design and use of current tools, and, even more importantly, to focus on the development of novel tools and their potential applications.

NOVEMBER 14 - 17, 2010This conference is a follow-up to the first one, held in 2008. We will consider current challenges and recent advances in computer vision and image analysis techniques that may advance neuroscience studies, and vice versa.
